Is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the Department of
Neurosurgery, Alexandria university school of medicine, Egypt. He is currently a Consultant
Neurosurgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Abu Dhabi in the UAE,
subspecializing in Skull base and Cerebrovascular surgery. He completed his clinical fellowship
training in microsurgical cerebrovascular surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago with Dr.
Fady Charbel and Dr. Amin-Hanjani. He also completed 2 years of complex cranial/skull base
oncology surgery clinical fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester with Dr. Micheal Link, Jamie Van
Gompel and Fredrick Meyer.
