Dr Chaitanya D is working as a Hand and Microsurgeon at Rashid Hospital , Dubai which is a tertiary referral center covering Hand , wrist , reconstructive and microsurgery issues in the whole of Dubai and Northern Emirates in UAE. He is trained at prestigious institutions in India (Dr Paul Brand Fellow, CMC Vellore ) and in Japan ( With Dr Doi for advanced Hand and Microsurgery)
He is a reviewer for JHS-E, has keen academic interest as an adjunct faculty at MBRU and has published papers in peer reviewed journals .
His areas of interest being fingertip injuries, hand & wrist trauma , reconstructive surgery ,reimplantation, arthroscopy and microsurgery/reconstructive procedures - as part of a orthoplastic team providing bone and soft tissue cover in complex limb trauma.
